Dear Colleagues,

Following are the main points discussed in today's meeting (Tuesday, 26th Sept 2006):

Test Coordinator : Gilbert

Equipment Support : Guy

Total completed magnets : 15 (out of 15, 12 are stripped)

Dipoles : 8

ARC-SSS : 6

IR-SSS 500 series : 0

IR-SSS 600 series : 1

Vinod Chohan highlighted that total 139 magnet are remaining for testing from now. (81/1232 dipoles, 28/360 ARC-SSS, 16/32 IR-SSS500s, and 14/82 IR-SSS600s).

Richard informed that the magnet SSS236 on C2 had HV problem at first run, and after replacement of current leads, the problems solved in next run.

Halik informed that SSS661 disconnection will take one more day due to special connections.

Stefane explained that on B2, cryo problems cause delay in testing. Richard added to this the power convertor problems as well.

Stefane informed that on D1, MM finishes tomorrow and then ARC-SSS317 will arrive. On that, both SSW and special MM to be done.

Giorgio asked that, Sun MTA 24 located in control room, should not be switched-off, as it runs the scripts for storage of data files generated in various tests.

Stefane proposed to remove unused and wrong MM cycle sequences from tema, as wrong sequence selections cause error launching tests, as in case of SSS139 MM3.

Giorgio emphasized that the the 3 DAQ crates reset should last for normally 1 minute. The 3 crates should be restarted then, and then wait for 2 minutes before launching HF, LF.

Giorgio asked all to inform Eq.sup and note in elogbook, if water leak is observed below CFB.

With warm regards,

Charudatta Kulkarni...
