Dear Colleagues, Following are the main points discussed in the meeting at SM -18 conference room on 25 / 04/ 2006 at 9.00 AM Total number of magnet test cycles : 18 Dipole : 8 ( 294 Repeated) Arc-SSS : 7 500 series : Nil IR SSS : 2 (632 , 672(R)) in the week from 11/04/2006 to 17/04/2006. In the current week : Test coordinator(s) : Mr. Marco Equipment Support : Mrs. Maryline 1) C-bench is being converted to make it Dipole-bench again. It is because we are running out of arc SSSs. 2) There is a big cryo leak in a flexible of a CFB of TBD1-S4(L)-636. But the leak is not yet defined. 3) Mr. Vinod Chohan informed that CERN staff Association has called for a strike on Friday (28 April). We will try to continue the operation as far as possible. If it was not possible to continue, it will be stopped. 4) Mr. Vinod Chohan also informed that there was a public holiday on Monday ( May, 01). So it becomes a very long weekend. 5) It was reiterated that it was very necessary to take precautions while doing HV test. The connections required to be disconnected must be disconnected before starting the HV test. If the disconnections are not done, potem cards may fail. 6) A table is provided in the control room on the white board for transfer functon of strech wire field strength on S4. 8) While doing IAP , take care to make all connections and to close the cover . 9) One Dipole magnet will come for special magnetic measurement for which Mr. Nicolas and Mr. Arindam Basu will coordinate. 10) Quench on busbar on bench B is under investigation.
