Following are the main points of today (21-06-2005) meeting:

Total number of Magnets tested -16. Out of sixteen magnets, 2 dipoles and 1 Special SSS were tested with MM and 8 dipole and 5 SSS without MM.

Magnet 1236 was signed for Standby because of Cryo-leak inside magnet.

Magnet 639 was signed for standby but the reason was not mentioned in PT14 of SMTMS. Equipment support may check this in future and clearly mention the reason.

Eric requested IAP software for Prep2.2C (test for corrector clamp connection check).

TBD1-the dummy resistor was blown up and Salem replaced that.

Stephen decided on Bench thermal Cycle for MBAL2191 on TBC2.

TBF2- there was SPA during the Special Test, but somehow it was neither informed to the person responsible for the test nor was the test repeated. Please make it sure to inform and repeat the test in future.

TBA2- There was problem with Power Converter. Power converter could not be switched ON. Salem changed the ‘Firing card’ and also informed AB-PO experts to solve the problem. If such a problem occurs in future inform to equipment support and also mention in E-logbook.

There is problem with the High Voltage Rack (XMT.MY92). The Megger is not able the render the correct voltage. Richard informed not to use this Rack.

SSS200 was with special cabling and therefore the tolerances of some of the resistance values were different from usual SSS. Eric has made change in CQR accordingly.

Nick informed that it is not required to do SSW for all the Special SSS. For example SSW (either at cold or at warm) was not required for SSSS616. A list of test is available in folder “SSS Test Procedure” in Control Room. In future please ensure that SSW is required for the magnet or not.

Some time back Nick asked that person should enter only his name in the “Executed by” Column of MTF during uploading of any File in MTF.

Best regards
