Dear Colleagues, Following are the highlights of the Tuesday meeting held on 07 Feb 2006: 1) Magnet Test cycles: 2 complete magnet test cycles were performed. The test rate was slow mainly because of the time required to bring the cryo system back to normal after the shutdown. 2) For magnet removal from the bench, the shift leader should call ROCLA people on 160772/160922 (from 06:00 to 20:00Hrs) or 165042/165043 (from 20:00 to 06:00Hrs). In case there is no response from any of these mobiles, the same should be reported in the e-logbook mentioning the time period for which there was no reply. 3) G.D’Angelo informed that the S4 tests have been included in the list of sequence in TEMA. S4 will be included in the IAP software in a couple of weeks after which the revised test procedures will be available. Problems encounterd by SM18 OP Team & their solutions: 1) Some problems have been noticed with voltage tap signals and the quench heater discharge on C cluster due to recent bench modification from Dipole to Arc SSS. They have been fixed now. 2) The power converters fail to switch on sometimes due to the new software version installed recently. An error message indicating the failure of communication serial port appears on the power converter panel in TEMA and the supply fails to enter the ‘standby’ mode.
