Dear All,

Here r the highlights of tuesday meeting.

1. Regarding AQA : We will continue to work as per AQA loaded on the respective TEMA and set frame of rules so far. New version of AQA will be available after validation.

2. If paper travellers are found missing on the bench, pl. call ICS for the same.

3. If you find overrange remarks in many sectors in the results of magnetic measurments, pl. check the connectors on top of TRU for proper connection.

4. If magnet name is not automatically appearing while conducting HV test, pl. enter it manually. Mr. Richard is looking into the problem.

Thanks,

Yashpal Singh

And

On B cluster, the situation is a bit strange when you do provoked quench at 1.5 kA

Since the potaim cards are the same for dipoles and SSS, the threshold is set to the dipole value (200 mv)

On the D bench for SSS only, the threshold value on the potaim card is set to 100 mv

So , when provoking a quench at 1.5 KA and if the quench does not occur, you should check if the VTaps have reached the 100 mV threshold.

In this case you repeat a quench at 2kA to provoke a real quench and you can consider quench is valid.

if you have questions ask Giorgio
